Meet Diego
Fly fishing has been a part of my life for more than ten years. I was introduced to the
sport during college, and after my first experiences on the water, it quickly grew from a
new hobby into a long-term passion.
Much of my early time on the water was spent fishing the rivers and streams of North
Jersey and the Catskills region of New York. In 2017, I moved to Colorado and was
fortunate to be surrounded by a large, active outdoor community, which allowed me to
further deepen my connection to fly fishing.
Fly fishing has taken me to some incredible places and introduced me to great people
along the way. Some of the most rewarding experiences have come from teaching
friends how to fly fish and helping them gain confidence on the water. I believe fly
fishing is a pursuit where you’re a student for life—there’s always more to learn, refine,
and appreciate. Sharing that mindset and helping others build confidence on the water
is what continues to fuel my passion for fly fishing.
