About Ralph Merrill

Fishing began at an early age in North East Texas stock ponds. Bass and blue gills were the favorites. Louisiana fishing added yet another dimension. Moving to Colorado in the mid-70s brought fishing to a standstill. It was replaced by volunteer ski patrolling for some 26 winters at the Loveland Ski Area. Fly fishing was introduced in the mid- 90s; sharing “the fly fishing experience” as a guide and instructor were soon added. Sharing fly fishing ideas and suggestions with clients, and seeing the results in “a netted fish” are for me truly exciting..
