Nate moved to Colorado in 2010 from Phoenix, AZ. While he had grown up fishing, it wasn’t until he first tried a fly rod that his true passion was realized. Four years ago Nate took the leap, leaving an established career to become a fly fishing guide. He loves teaching beginners, as there’s truly nothing better than the hoot and holler of that first hookup, followed by a cheesin’ grip and grin. He loves learning the needs and goals of his clients and adapting to give them the best day on the water! He guides full time all season long and during the winter can be found fishing CO tailwaters, tying proven flies, and cooking much larger meals than necessary. “If your waders ain’t tight, you didn’t eat right” Which could also be a slogan for the fabulous lunches served at the North Fork Ranch!
