Directions to the North Fork Ranch

The North Fork Ranch and other properties we guide on are located in the Colorado Rocky Mountains off US Highway 285. US 285 offers beautiful views and is an easy drive. From Denver you will be gaining around 3,000 feet in elevation so expect some winding turns as the road works its way through canyons. As you climb higher in elevation you will be entering wildlife habitat. Please keep your eyes peeled for the elk, deer and big horn sheep!

Driving Directions from Denver's International Airport

  1. Go South on Pena Blvd. to Interstate 70
  2. Go West on I-70
  3. Take I-70 to Exit 260 which is C-470 to Colorado Springs
  4. Go South on C-470 for about 5 miles to Hwy 285 (Fairplay Exit)
  5. Follow Hwy 285 South towards Fairplay
  6. Follow Hwy 285 South for approximately 40 miles through Bailey
  7. Continue another 6 miles passing the high school on the right to Shawnee
  8. Continue 0.5 miles past Shawnee to North Fork Ranch
  9. The front gate is on the right or North side of the highway
  10. Follow the road into the ranch
